SecEd's annual two-day teaching excellence event will take place once again in January 2025, offering teachers, middle leaders and leaders of teaching and learning in secondary schools exclusive access to strategies and tips from some of the country's best teachers.

This online event will bring together educators with proven track records in the secondary classroom who will deliver practical sessions packed with tried and tested techniques and approaches – from teaching tips to formative assessment, from lesson planning to homework, from classroom routines to questioning, from inclusive classrooms to EAL, from behaviour management to lesson objectives and so much more...

There will also be downloadable handouts and resources from the speakers, access to recordings of all the sessions to view on demand in your own time for up to three months after the event, and a CPD certificate sent to all attendees.

This event is designed for anyone involved in the planning and delivery teaching and learning in schools:

  • Classroom teachers
  • Classroom support staff
  • Subject leaders
  • Department leaders
  • Curriculum/teaching & learning leaders (middle and senior leadership)
  • Pupil Premium Leads
  • SENCOs

The programme for this event is due to be published in September 2024.
