National Autistic Society

Inclusion Disability
World Autism Awareness Week 2019 is now over, but there are still ways to get involved.

The celebration took place in April, when the National Autistic Society (NAS) saw more than 4,000 teachers and parents signing up their schools to get free learning resources to help teach students about autism.

Schools have also been raising much-needed funds to help the NAS transform lives and change attitudes, which will go a long way to create a society that works for the 700,000 autistic children and adults in the UK. Thank you so much to all the schools who got involved.

And don’t forget – from sharing our awareness film (pictured above), to downloading the resources – there are still plenty of ways you can be involved.
