The Hay Festival will be broadcast live into schools on May 23 and 24.

The festival runs a renowned schools programme, funded by the Welsh government and Hay Festival Foundation, and there will be 12 sessions streamed on each day.

The Thursday will see talks for key stage 2, while the Friday is aimed at key stages 3 and 4.

The sessions include appearances from authors including Michael Rosen and Cressida Cowell, comedians David Baddiel, Mae Martin and Harry Hill, Paralympian and television presenter Ade Adepitan, master cartoonist Gary Northfield, scientist Steve Mould, and historian and broadcaster Amy Lamé.
